Is Microdermabrasion Good For Really Dry Skin?

One might wonder, is microdermabrasion good for really dry skin?

Although all skin types can get microdermabrasion done it’s best to not perform the service on really dry skin. If you are suffering from severely dehydrated skin it’s best to address that issue first. Once we are able to find out why you are experiencing dryness and what we can do to help it, it is then okay to proceed with exfoliating treatments in the spa auch as microdermabrasion.

Additionally, if microdermabrasion is performed on overly dry skin the machine may not be able to penetrate the skin as deeply as it’s designed to. This will stop you from seeing the fantastic results of microdermabrasion simply because the machine won’t be able to do its job to the fullest.

Starting up with a good skincare regimen at home to gently exfoliate and hydrate your skin will do wonders alone! For dryness, I would recommend starting with the Green Tea Cleanser, Hydration Toner, Peptide Complex Serum, and HydroCalm Moisturizer (subject to change depending on other skin concerns), all found here at The Peoria Beach House Spa!

It is absolutely fantastic to be interested in trying out in Spa services. There’s no doubt that they have the ability of helping many’s skin in tremendous ways although your at home skincare is even more important in the long run! The combination of the two will give you the skin of your dreams in due time!
