What kind of lash client are you?

Lashes are all the talk these days so do you know whether a Lash Lift or Lash Extensions are for you?

There are pros and cons to both services so I’ll break it down for you!

Lash Lift Pros:

  • You can wear mascara

  • More of a natural look

  • Lasts up to 8 weeks

  • Great for straight lashes

  • Low maintenance

Lash Lift Cons:

  • Can't get lashes wet for the first 48 hours

  • You have to wait at least 6 weeks before getting your next lash lift treatment

If you are someone who likes to go all out on your makeup then a lash lift is for you. You can wear mascara as much as you want with a lash lift and it will make your lashes bolder.

A lash lift uses your natural lashes so if you like more of the natural look this will be a great treatment. You can dress it up with makeup or keep it simple and still have a bold and curled look.

A lash lift will last up to 8 weeks so that means no coming into the spa for maintenance appointments on your lashes.

If you have straight, full, and long lashes then a lash lift is perfect. The lash lift will curl your lashes up to make them look bolder.

Even if you have short lashes the lash lift will give them the appearance that they are longer and curled up.

Now the downfall to a lash lift, you have to wait 48 hours before getting your lashes wet. This can be tricky for some clients, but we will give you tips to get past it.

Just wash your face with a washcloth or use goggles in the shower! Trust me we've heard it all!

In between lash lifts you must wait at least 6 weeks before receiving another one to keep the integrity of your lashes.

Lash Extension Pros:

  • Full lashes

  • Bold and long lashes

  • Choose the look of your lashes

  • Volume, Classic, or Hybrid look

  • Saves time in the morning

Lash Extension Cons:

  • No mascara

  • Clean your lashes daily (this is an easy step to add to your skincare routine)

  • 2-3 week maintenance appointments

  • No oil based products

If you are someone who has sparse and short lashes then lash extensions will be right up your alley.

Lash extensions will make your lash line look full and fluffy. Your esthetician will be able to customize your extensions to what you are wanting so be sure to tell them how you like your lashes to look!

Lash extensions will save you a lot of time in the morning. All you really have to do is wake up and brush your lashes and it gives the appearance that you have makeup on.

The downfall to lashes are that you can’t wear mascara with extensions. Makeup has a tendency of breaking down the bonds in the glue making you lose lash extensions so its best to go makeup free around your eye area.

You will also want to stay away from all oil products because like eye makeup they will break down the bond of the glue as well.

If you’re a busy babe then it might be a hassle for you to come in for 2- week fills so you will either want to pre book your appointments to fit your schedule or try a lash lift.

Whichever lash client you are, we support you and want your lashes to look amazing!

If you still aren’t quite sure what kind of lash client you are then stop into the spa or contact your esthetician and we can talk you through what would suit you best.
