What to expect for your first lash lift and lash tint

The service itself takes about 40-60 minutes from start to finish. It leaves your lashes with instant gratification.

It is an in and out the door service! Those are my favorite because let's face it, we have busy lives.

At the end of this 4 step process you will have lifted/curled lashes!

Let me lay it all out for you in what we will be doing to your lashes.

We will start by cleaning and drying your lashes to make sure all the products fully penetrate the lashes. The bottom lashes are secured down with a comfortable flexible tape. We don't want your bottom lashes popping up and interfering in the lift.

Then the silicone rods are placed on the upper eyelid using a liquid adhesive. The upper lashes are then glued onto the rod and combed in the most flattering direction.

The first cream is applied and stays on the lashes for 12-15 minutes. This product strips the lashes allowing for the curl to hold. The cream will be removed from the lashes before the second one is applied.

After removing the first step the neutralizer cream is applied. This stops the lashes from processing any further. The cream stays on for about 6-8 minutes.

Both steps one and two that are applied to the lashes for the lift can lighten the hair which is why we always tint the lashes after these steps. The tint is applied to the upper lashes and allowed to sit for about 3-5 minutes.

Sometimes it doesn't need to sit that long or may even sit longer. The esthetician can gage this for herself/himself.  (Depending on if the client is blonde or brunette determines if the lash tint is black or blue black).

As the last step, we apply a conditioning cream that allows the rest of the lashes to pop off the rod. The conditioning cream also aids in taking off the “rods” and helping the clients eyelids feel less sticky.

The most important thing to remember when receiving a lash lift and tint is to NOT get them wet for 48 hours. This will allow for the process to take full effect. I promise you won't be disappointed after receiving a lash lift!

We’ll see you in the spa soon to get those lashes in tip top shape!
